Team Forms Challenge
Team Forms meets Team Sparring.
Format
For time contraints, Team Forms Challenge will be done in a single elimination format bracket.
Individuals from opposing teams shall compete at the same time if space allows. If the ring space is insufficient for two members, then competitors perform one at a time.
There is a two minute time limit for forms.
Team Size
A team may only have three competiting team members and a team captain. A competiting team member may also be the team captain. Teams may not swap out members for any reason.
Competitors may not be in multiple teams.
There is no restrictions on the composition of the team. However, the composition of the team will determine in which division they are placed in. Competitors may perform any form that they wish.
Divisions
There are only four divisions.

The division that a team is placed is determined by the highest rank in the team and the oldest age in the team. The rank and age does not have to come from the same individual.
The determination of age shall follow the age determination method of the tournament.
Examples
- A team has two white belts that are 8 years old and a single black belt that is 14 years old. The team will compete in the
12 and over | Black Beltdivision. - A team has an 11 year old black belt and two 13 year old advanced ranks. The team will compete in the
12 and over | Black Beltdivision.
Scoring
Scoring is a 10 point must system.
Individuals from opposing teams will compete against each other and then recieve points for their team. The winning individual will recieve 10 points for their team. The losing individual will receive less than 10 points for their team.
Scores are determined and delivered to the scorekeeper after the two competitors are dismissed.

The scores are tallied at the end. The team with the highest score (minus any penalties) wins.
Penalties
Penalties are a point deduction towards the teams total.

- Competitors inadvertantly striking their opponent.
- Other prohibitied actions for forms also apply for Team Forms Challenge.
Potential Black belts performing non-black belt forms is a penalty.
Level Differences
When there is a significant level difference between competitors in a match, score clamping will be in play. If the losing competitor is at least one level lower than the winning competitor, the losing competitor shall receive at least 9 points. However, if the higher level competitor is the loser in the match, then there is no clamp for them.

Tie Breaker
When teams are tied, the score of the last match will determine the winning team. If the score of the last match is tied, then the teams will select one member each to compete one final time. The judges will point towards the winner.
Order of Operations
Bracket has been created.
